Deborah Lowe's diamond shaped 'Quarry' panels are inspired by the decorative medieval ‘quarries’ that can be found in the windows of historic cathedrals, churches and manor houses. Employing the traditional techniques of grisaille and silver stain, her quarries are hand painted with motifs of animals, birds and whimsical creatures. Each piece is unique, framed by a colourful ‘jumble’ border. They are weatherproof, light fast and, like their historic counterparts, will last for centuries! Dimensions 27.5cmx17.5cm, each panel is fitted with a metal ring for hanging. Important product information: Due to the use of traditional glass making techniques, this panel contains lead.
