Distribute a small amount of Quartz onto the provided applicator Apply a thin layer to the paint in a cross hatched motion to ensure even coverage. Working one to two panels at a time, allow 2-5 minutes for the wax to cure, then buff off. Top waxing tips Apply Quartz panel by panel and adjust your cure time based on ambient temperatures. The warmer the weather (or panel), the quicker the curing time will be. Do not over apply Quartz. Adding more product than necessary will only make it more difficult to remove with no increase in performance or durability. If you are someone that doesn't have time to completely re-wax their car every few weeks AND you drive your car more than just off a transporter and into a hall (you actually use roads), then traditional wax just isn't going to cut it anymore. A ceramic coating is semi-permanent so it seals in everything beneath it. As such, ceramic coatings must be applied after a full paint correction (machine polish) in a clean, dust free detailing studio. This has to be carried out by a trained expert and by the end of it you are left with a hefty bill. Quartz wax is a lot more forgiving. The wax can help fill in and reduce the appearance of light swirls and scratches. Application can be done by yourself at home on the drive and it's also a lot cheaper - from a single tub you get at least 5 applications. The pot looks a bit small. How many applications can I get from it? The jar is 75ml and this is sufficient to coat a minimum of 5 medium sized vehicles (or coat your own car for at least 2.5 years).
