Quartz Lotus Pendulum Pendulums have been used for ages for divination and determining the answer to any question which the rational mind cannot perceive. This is accomplished by allowing the body, through a process known as ‘muscle testing’, to determine the outcome. Simply ask a question which you know the answer to and determine which circular or horizontal or vertical motion is yes or no. Get relaxed then ask your question. I am often asked "how do I know what pendulum to chose?". Choosing the right pendulum is like choosing the right crystal, there is no wrong choices. Just trust your intuition and go with the one that attracts you the most. If you find that you are attracted to more than one, go for it! I use different pendulums for different reasons; some are for healing sessions, some for divinations, some I use as wands to connect my Crystal Grids, others to help me find lost objects. Whatever you choose, you are sure to enjoy your pendulum for years. Now how to use your pendulum? Hold the pendulum chain, no more than 4 to 6 inches of the chain, between your thumb and index fingers of your dominant hand. Hold above your non-dominant hand, about 3 to 5 inches above over the middle of your hand. Take a deep breath, relax. Now ask a closed ended question; anything that could be answered with a yes or a no. Yes answers are circles, for a "no" the pendulum will swing away from you and back to you. A pendulum never swings left to right....thats your muscles doing the work. If the pendulum does not swing, in a circle or away from you then the answer is "I don't know". Rephrase your question. You connect with your higher self when using a pendulum, not with a spirit or another energy. Your higher self has all the answers you are seeking.
