Quasimodo Pheasant Tail

Not your average pheasant tail. Copper bead, flashback and tied on a heavy wire curved shank hook. Bangin'! We also wanted a curved variation of a flashback Pheasant Tail, bead hea d. We had decided on the "hunchback" series name, but balked at stealing the thunder of Andy Burk's Hunchback PMD/Sulfur and Michael McLellan's new Hunchback Scuds. So instead of simply a name denoting all the fly parts (Bead Head Flashback Pheasant Tail on 2488H), we decided on a more "Flies with attitude" handle, so the Hunchback became the Quasimodo (hopefully you are all familiar with the Cliff Notes version at the least Victor Hugo?) The result is a sexy variation of the familiar Pheasant Tail. Show more
