Queen is a British rock band formed 1970 in London by Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon. Freddy died in 1991 and the band continued to work with Paul Rodger s from Free and Bad Company. The band was characterised by Mercury's theatrical stage presence and operatic voice, together with Brain May's soaring guitar technique. The four albums released between 1974-76; Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night at The Opera and A Day at The Races, are classics. Innuendo, Freddy's last, is also a fine album.
