This extremely rare issue of 'Queen' (a pioneering fashion and society magazine) features a now classic cover with a model wearing a gorgeous post-box red Courreges trouser suit an d photographed by the inimitable Helmut Newton. Plus there's the most incredible 14 page fashion Courreges editorial with the same model and shot by Newton..!More Paris fashion, including ethereal Courreges designs inside.This is the infamous issue that saw Helmut Newton being fired from French Vogue. He gave this Courreges story to Queen, and the editor at Paris Vogue, where Newton had been submitting work, was angered at this exclusive Courrège preview going to the British magazine Queen. As a consequence, Newton's work appears prolifically in Queen magazine for the next two to three years. When the EIC at Vogue France changed a few years later, Newton was re-hired.Queen declared this collection "...by far the most exciting (collection) this autumn"!
