This device is used to introduce a new queen into a hive. It has two slow-release compartments. The smaller compartment, when filled with queen candy (different than other sugars f ed to bees), will allow the worker bees to get direct access to the queen after a couple of days. The larger compartment, also filled with queen candy, will allow the queen to escape the cage after about another day. Show more
