The queen marking fork is to be used for marking queen bee's, use the elastic band on the fork to gently hold down a queen while marking her, the re is a bend in the fork which is designed to be ergonomic so that you do not have to twist your hand to get over the queen. By having the fork, you no longer have to grab the queen with your fingers or trap her in a cage, just press down on her amongst the other bees and mark, DONE!
