This issue is especially rare as it features the large 'Q' masthead which only appeared on the cover of Queen during 1962. Originally a society magazine in the early 50s, editor Jocelyn Steven bought the magazine in 1958 and shifted the format, content and readership to turn Queen into one of the most iconic publications of its time. Working with Beatrix Miller, Norman Parkinson and later Helmut Newton, Queen became a definitive bible for all things 60s. Super collectable and rare!
