A landmark of visionary cinema, QUEST FOR FIRE (LA GUERRE DU FEU) is a prehistoric odyssey unlike anything before or since. Set 80,000 years ago, the film follows a small tribes desperate journey to rekindle the flame that sustains their survival. With no spoken language and immersive world-building, director Jean-Jacques Annaud crafts a raw, visceral tale told through striking visuals, groundbreaking performances (Everett McGill, Ron Pearlman and Rae Dawn Chong), and Oscar-winning makeup effects. Celebrated for its bold originality and anthropological detail, QUEST FOR FIRE has achieved enduring cult status as the first truly prehistoric fiction film.DetailsCatalogue Number: DAVID5138Format: Blu RayGenre: Action, AdventureRating: MA15+Release Date: 03 12 2025Production Year: 1981Distributor: 100Languages: EnglishRating Advice: Strong Sex Scenes| Strong ViolenceDistributor: Umbrella EntertainmentDirectors: Jean-Jacques AnnaudActors: Everett McGill, Ron Perlman, Rae Dawn Chong, Nicholas Kadi, Gary Schwartz
