The Quest Overhead dehumidifier is intended for use in situations where the relative humidity needs to be reduced as low as possible, or when you are using air conditioning systems that also extract heat from the air, by doing this you maximise your available cooling for drying and increase the efficiency of the system. Like any dehumidifier the heavier duty models have extra fans to increase airflow and remove more moisture from the air than an average household model. These are totally sealed machines with no exhaust vents so that hot turbulent air doesn't come back into contact with your lights or plants.
