Since we engrave every buckle at Evergreen headquarters, your order ships with no extra wait time. Engraving visibility varies slightly by finish, with Matte Black hardware offering the strongest contrast thanks to its powder coated surface. Sizing: We generally recommend that you choose a size that will fit your dog on one of the middle holes, this allows for adjustments on either side. In order to choose the best collar size for your dog, it is recommended to use a previous collar to measure from the clip to the end and use that as a baseline. If you are unsure about what collar size to choose, message us and we'd be happy to help! Hardware: You can chose between Gold (Brass) hardware, Silver Hardware or Matte Black. Please note that the Matte Black is more likely to chip and will wear faster but can easily be touched up with an acrylic pen or Sharpie. Our gold hardware is made of plated brass and the black hardware is powder coated. All of our screws are Chicago Screws and are top-rated for quality and durability. Our standard Quick Release buckles weigh approximately 2 ounces in addition to the rest of the collar, while the small Quick Release buckles are about an ounce.
