Our LARP foam weapon model of the Quillon dagger is probably the longest lived style of dagger, current from the 12th centruy right through to the 17th or even 18th century. Suitable for military men from Late Norman knights to Cromwell’s Roundheads. The color of the hilt can be chosen from our classic steel, brass and graphite pigments. Leather grips are available in red, black and brown. The blade can be ordered either in the length of 25, 30 or 35cm. It has a 6 mm round fiberglass core, which ends 6 cm in front of the tip, and for safer stabbing and durability, the tip is reinforced with Kevlar fabric. Please note that the Soft Daggers are not suitable for regular LARP combat, or parrying blows from heavier foam weapons such as swords, polearms and hafted weapons. Soft Daggers have a thinner 6mm round core and are designed for light touch theatrical stabbing and slashing. If you want to do regular LARP fencing with daggers, please choose some of our Fencing daggers, which feature a stronger core. You can also order a leather sheath for the dagger. You can choose from seven different leather colors. The sheath can be finished with a simple leather tip, or it can be fitted with a steel or brass chape. The leather sheaths are 4mm thick and they are hand sewn and dyed in our workshop in the Czech Republic. They can be tied to the belt with a string on the back of the sheath. The length of the sheath is made to fit the length of the dagger blade you choose.
