This quilt soap, also known as orvus paste, contains no phosphates to harm delicate fabrics. The surfactants in orvus paste are biodegradable. Excellent product to prewash your fabrics with. Works wonderfully on quilts, even very delicate antique quilts, but follow manufacturer instructions for best results. Orvus W.A.
