A flat quilted pencil case in two colors, cream and black. The outer is a heavyweight 100s pigment-dyed cotton, quilted in horizontal channels. The lining is 100% polyester. A sing le silver oval zipper slider embossed with "Clam" runs along the top edge, and a small woven "Clam" label sits on the lower corner. Holds about ten pens or pencils lying flat, with room for items up to 19 centimeters in length. The flat profile slides into a notebook or alongside a laptop sleeve in a bag without bulking it up. At 26 grams, it disappears in a bag. Machine-washable on a gentle cycle; the quilted face softens with washes. The 100s pigment cotton is woven from a lightly processed yarn, so small dark flecks of cotton seed remain in the cloth. They show more visibly in the cream than in the darker colors.
