These quilted blankets are made by Archive NY and draw on the palettes and patterns of vintage American quilts — reinterpreted through a handweaving tradition that predates them. M ade in Gujarat, India, by one of only three families still practicing this specialized double-weave style that dates to the 1860s, each square is hand-stuffed with cotton batting as the fabric is woven, making the quilting and the structure of the cloth inseparable. At a generous throw size, they are perfectly suited to a sofa or chair. Made from a poly-cotton blend. Additional sizes available upon request.
