Learn some quilting basics by sewing your own quilted table runner! This class will take you through the steps of creating a quilted piece, and you’ll leave with a finished project you can proudly display at home. Ages 18+ Skill Level: Advanced Beginner Advanced Beginner classes are designed as “next step” classes to build basic skills. Sewing students must have taken Sewing 101 and/or be comfortable threading their machines and sewing simple projects. Learn more about our class levels here. Supplies (Not included, but all materials purchased at Sew To Speak will receive a 15% discount.): Fabric: 1 mini charm pack ¼ yd coordinating fabric ¼ yd border fabric ½ yd backing fabric Batting: ½ yd or enough for a 12” x 42” rectangle (Pellon 100% cotton or bamboo/cotton blend are a great choice!) Binding: ¼ yd Notions: Matching thread for quilting, safety pins/quilting pins.
