HAY's Quilton Sofa series is available in a myriad of fabric and module options. This page is dedicated to Quilton Sofa Free Standing Modules. 'Free Standing' means that the sofa module will not have any joining brackets on the side, this is so you can use the item as an individual seat. However this doesn't prevent you from butting up multiple modules to form a larger sofa whenever required. Other standalone options are a 2-Seater or 3-Seater Sofa. Designed by London-based design studio, Doshi Levien for HAY, Quilton is a multi-functional sofa with the flexibility of a modular system. Aptly described by the two designers as a ‘quilted landscape sofa system’, Quilton combines Nipa Doshi’s inherent visual understanding and Jonathan Levien’s industrial precision to create a central platform for living, working, socialising and relaxing. Generous dimensions and sculpted forms characterise the design, with the softness and volume of the foam and wadding seats creating exceptional comfort, and the wide assortment of modules offering greater versatility. Quilton’s numerous upholstery choices and infinite seating scenarios make it suitable for a wide range of domestic and public spaces.
