The 471CS80VCBM hangs a 7.5 HP two-stage cast iron pump off ordinary 230V 1-Phase shop power, which is the difference between a compressor you can install next week and one that waits on a quote from the utility company. If your building is single-phase and you have simply run out of air, that one line of the specification is the reason to look at this model rather than a three-phase machine of the same size.
