Cooking Instructions: For best results, start by rinsing the quinoa. (This reduces the bitter taste that comes with its natural coating.) Then simply combine it in a pot with water at about a 2:1 (water to quinoa) ratio. (Some people reduce the water to 1.5 or 1.75 cups per 1 cup of quinoa. You can experiment to find your sweet spot.) Bring the pot to a boil, cover, and reduce the heat. Simmer for 15 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and let it sit, covered, for another 10 minutes.
