Quite Contrary Pendant. This pendant is dedicated to a beautiful soul taken too soon. Several years ago when I was working in a Cafe in Yeppoon, Central Queensland, one of my 'regulars' was wearing a beautiful cowrie shell bracelet, and i loved it, and told her so, saying how gorgeous it was. Next time she was in Bali, she come back with the same bracelet, and gifted one to myself and a few of my colleagues. The bracelet ended up braking, but I kept the shells because they were beautiful and it was such a thoughtful gift and I didn't want to just throw them out (I'm sentimental AF and hate waste ). I recently learnt that the beautiful human who had gifted me the bracelet had lost her battle with ovarian cancer. This pendant is dedicated to her.
