This compelling game has won award after award after award. Qwirkle is a quick-to-learn game and is as simple as matching colours and shapes. However, it also requires tactical thi nking and well-thought out strategy. The aim of the game is to win the most points. Points are earned by building rows of wooden tiles that share a common shape or colour. If you can put down a tile that touches multiple pieces with matching attributes you can earn more points and if you complete a qwirkle - a line of 6 tiles - you get bonus points. We love that this is a great family game which is easy to pick up and where everyone can join in and have fun. Played as a family game with 80 year old Great Auntie Mary and my 7 year old nieces and we all had a great time. It really is worthy of all those awards!
