R Lazy S has been family owned and operated for over 75 years. Since 1948 the ranch has been a gathering place for families and friends seeking. The R Lazy S is one of the longest running, still operating, historic dude ranches in Jackson Hole. Life at the R Lazy S goes back to simpler times when we were close to the land and knew how to enjoy it. The R Lazy S invites visitors from around the world each summer to ride horses, experience the cowboy lifestyle and connect with nature. The ranch consists of 14 historic log cabins, a 100-year old dining lodge, and our Barn which provides a home to our herd of nearly 80 horses, and a pair of donkeys. Whether it’s your first visit or your fortieth, a week on the ranch will feel like home.
