This DIY kit uses 1.5" diameter x .25" wall DOM tubing, built to take repeated hits and keep you steering straight. Whether you're tackling rocks, trails, or just need a serious upgrade, this kit gets it done right the first time. You will need to drill your steering arms to a 5/8" bore to use this kit. Welding is required—make sure it’s done by a competent welder with the right setup. Do not weld the tube adapter with the rod end threaded inside (different cooling rates will lock them together). Wait until everything is fully cooled before threading rod ends into the adapters. Rod End Maintenance Tip We only recommend using Tri-Flow to service our rod ends. Using products like WD-40 or Blaster will void the warranty. Note: This kit requires cutting and welding. Be sure to check clearances with steering at full lock to determine if any bends are necessary before final cuts.
