Rare and choice antique American whalebone ditty box circa 1850. Similar box by the same hand in the Peabody Museum, Salem Collection. Beautifully engraved in red and green color w ith pierced double cornucopias, American flags, flowers and vine bandings. Very good condition with minor cracks and rim chips. Size: 6.5 x 4 inches.
