The Rab Firewall Mountain Pants are built for adventure, offering exceptional waterproof protection and packability for demanding hikes and mountain days. Engineered with cutting-edge 3-layer Pertex Shield technology, these pants are ready to deflect the elements and keep you dry and comfortable throughout your journey. The 3-layer Pertex Shield fabric delivers exceptional waterproof protection (20,000mm hydrostatic head) and breathability (20,000g/m2/24hrs), keeping you dry and comfortable during strenuous activity in wet weather. A Fluorocarbon-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) repels water from the trouser's surface, ensuring rain and sleet bead off and run clear, for long-lasting performance. The lightweight, part-elasticated waistband reduces bulk while providing a comfortable and supportive fit that won't restrict your movement. Full-length 2-way YKK AquaGuard side zips allow for easy on and off, even over boots and crampons, with internal storm guards for additional protection from the elements. A Drawcord adjustable hem allows you to fine-tune the fit around your boots or gaiters for optimal comfort and weather protection. The Rab Firewall Mountain Pants are a dependable choice for hikers and mountaineers who need reliable waterproof protection and freedom of movement on the trail. These packable pants are easy to stash in your backpack and offer the features and functionality required to navigate challenging mountain environments.
