Rab Khroma Diffract Pants – Waterproof, Insulated Ski Touring Pants Designed for backcountry skiers and ski mountaineers, the Rab Khroma Kinetic Pants combine lightweight PrimaLoft® Silver insulation with Proflex™ waterproof stretch fabric for the perfect balance of warmth, protection, and mobility. Strategically quilted across the seat and thighs, the insulation keeps core muscle groups warm without adding bulk, while the supple, stretchy material offers the feel of a softshell with hardshell-level protection. Practical details make long tours more comfortable: zipped thigh vents dump excess heat, articulated knees and gusset panels allow full mobility, and reinforced kicker patches protect against ski edges and rocks. The deep lined waistband can be adjusted with hook-and-loop closures or used with belts or braces. Additional storage comes from zipped hand pockets, an expandable thigh pocket with internal clip, and stretch internal snow gaiters with ankle zips and snap closures to keep spindrift out.
