The Phantom Jacket is one of the lightest waterproof shells available, delivering compact and barely noticeable protection for ultra running, mountain races, and long-distance thru-hiking. Designed with only the most essential features, it maintains high functionality without unnecessary extras, incorporating a practical full-length zip and a ventilated roll-away hood. When the skies clear, the jacket conveniently packs into its own hood, compressing down to a palm-sized bundle that fits effortlessly into a backpack or running vest, ensuring it is always within reach for unexpected showers. Features The 7D 2.5-layer Pertex® Shield fabric is exceptionally lightweight while providing reliable protection against sudden downpours. The optimised elbow precurve ensures unrestricted movement, allowing for a natural running motion. A versatile full zip allows for quick and easy layering as the weather shifts. A part-elasticated hem enhances the overall fit for improved comfort. The ventilated roll-away hood serves a dual purpose by also functioning as an integrated storage pocket. Reflective branding is strategically placed throughout for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. The hood incorporates rear venting to minimise billowing in strong winds, ensuring stability on exposed ridgelines. Secure elasticated cuffs provide a snug fit while offering enough stretch to vent the forearms and maintain easy access to a sports watch.
