PURIFICATION: This pAb IgG was purified by protein A/G affinity chromatography to >95% purity as determined by SDS-PAGE, reduced. SPECIFICITY: This pAb IgG binds to native and recombinant TB antigen MPT64 as determined by ELISA and Western ELISA. Useful in capturing MPT64 specific polyclonal antibodies from human active TB serum in a twin site assay using anti-MPT64 murine monoclonal antibody (product # 115-24) and rabbit anti-MPT64 polyclonal antibody-HRP as a detection reagent ( product # 135-20-P). BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY: None APPLICATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Recommended dilutions for use are approximate values. A dose dependent response assay should be performed to determine the optimal concentration for use in specific applications. This pAb IgG yields titres of greater than 1 : 2000 with 100ng of immobilized rESAT-6(Product# 135-40) under standard ELISA conditions. ELISA and Western ELISA may be performed at 1-2µg/ml of pAb depending on the nature and the quantity of the immobilized antigen.
