The Radcliffe is an adjustable bed base made entirely in the UK, supplied to the NHS and to most retailers across the country. It can be upholstered in any fabric we make, and carr ies the same large open storage space as the Broncroft with the platform raised and lowered electrically instead of by hand. Features Back rest adjustment. Raises the head and shoulders so you can sit up to read, watch television or eat comfortably. Leg rest adjustment. Lifts the legs to take pressure off the hips and lower back and help with circulation. Zero gravity. A preset position that raises the head and legs above the heart, spreading body weight evenly and easing pressure on the spine. 5 part adjustable movement. The sleeping surface splits into five sections that move together, following the natural bend of the body rather than folding at a single hinge. Electric underbed storage. One large open storage space beneath the bed, with the platform raised and lowered at the touch of a button and no lifting by hand. Choice of leg height. Set the bed to the height that suits you best. Maximum user weight 25 stone (159 kg). Supplied as a base only, ready to pair with the mattress of your choice.
