Included are their three studio albums, three bonus discs of mainly previously unreleased material and a live 1977 never-before-heard concert, as well as six tracks on an all-regions DVD. Along with the Saints, Radio Birdman stand as THE band who turned rock & roll on its head in Australia in the 1970s. Their uncompromising stance and strong sense of independence was a massive influence on the punk scene (something they shared with the Saints in pre-dating), and their legendary brand of Detroit-damaged rock still stands as some of the fiercest and most brilliant sounds this country has ever produced. Their legend looms large, they’re set to reunite and tour throughout October and November, and this reissue series from Citadel will stand as the definitive versions of their recorded works.
