These beautiful handwoven baskets are available in multiple sizes and colors and can be used as a wall hanging (loop attached in back) or many other decorative and useful ways. Bur undi is unfortunately among the poorest countries in the world and the work that we do is therefore focused on helping the most vulnerable, mostly women, to gain a living for their families. Selling their products can make a difference between their children going to school or staying home to work in their family field, or for their parents being able to buy them malaria medication, a serious health hazard in Burundi.
