A large, 12x20 cm (5x8in), patch based on a Dec 1940 issue of Railroad Magazine, featuring a story from famed rail hopper, singer, and poet Harry McClintock. I found this magazine in a thrift shop a while ago and have always loved the cover. The magazine itself is a mix of stories related to working on the railroad, and also of hopping trains. All patches are hand drawn, silk screened, hand made by me. No AI is used for anything I make Depending on how you sew the patches, they may fray a bit over time, or when put in the wash. If you want a frayed look, use a more spaced apart stich pattern. If you want to prevent fraying, use a tight, close together stich pattern. Black Fabric: 100% cotton, 10-12 oz canvas or 14 oz twill (depending on availability)Natural Fabric: 100% cotton, 10-12 oz canvas (depending on availability) Care: patches are colour fast and the print will survive in the wash. they can go in the dryer, but I recommend hanging to dry any garment with patches sewn on to them. DO NOT IRON THE PRINTED AREA. if you do need to iron the patch, either upside down or with a piece of fabric between the patch and the iron.
