Bronze, 7" diam 9" tallKingman Turquoise In the year 1552, there was a terrible droughtin New Mexico and Colorado. Hundreds ofNative Americans came south looking for water and a ne w place to live. They settled in what is today Nambe Pueblo,north of Santa Fe. As the drought continued, the people prayed for rain. Then, one morning, drops of rain began to fall and the drought was gone.
