Details: Size: 6" wide x 8.5" long Materials: Stained Glass (Spectrum, Oceanside, Kokomo, Wissmach, Designer Glass, Lambert's, Bullseye, Van Gogh, and/or Youghiogheny glass), solder, copper foil, lead came, and patina (black or copper) A black or silver chain, or a black suede cord for hanging **Stained glass (the Tiffany method) is made using 60/40 solder which is 60% tin and 40% lead. I may also sometimes use a lead came border which is also made from 99% lead. Lead is only dangerous if it is consumed so your piece is safe to handle; just don't lick it! As an extra safety precaution, you may wash your hands after handling your piece. Also, be sure to display your piece out of reach of children and pets. Packaging: Items are wrapped in kraft packing paper, then (if the piece is flat) it is secured between two pieces of carboard and finally wrapped in a honeycomb packing paper for extra security. All of this is then placed into a box with biodegradable packing peanuts. To help out with the environment, I sometimes reuse packaging materials that are thrown away, like undamaged boxes, bubble mailers, and packing supplies.
