She is known for her experimental glazes and painterly applications of glaze. In her current practice, she combines sculpture and ceramic glaze as a new language of painting. She revisits significant moments in art history through the lens of her personal encounters with art works, memory, and place. Her work explores ways non-Western cultures and art practices have influenced the Western art canon.
