SEMI TRANSPARENT VINYL: Semi transparent vinyl is vinyl that has both transparent and opaque elements. The colored elements of the vinyl are printed on a white base so they pop. The “white” blank space of the design is completely transparent. This type of vinyl creates a sticker effect on whatever material you are using it on. TRANSPARENT VINYL: This type of vinyl is clear and does allow for the surface background to be seen. The ink is printed on a clear surface and does not pop as vibrantly as it does on opaque, but does allow for some creative freedom when creating your work. It is a transparent media and can create a watercolor appearance, or have the same effect as working with waterslide.
