In 2003, Pete was commissioned to write a multi-cultural Oratorio for a large schools’ project in the East End of London. He chose to tell the story of ‘Babel’ as it occurs in the mythology of Mexican Aztecs, of East Africa and also throughout the Sub-Continent. The story begins with the flood, the great deluge, and the rainbow as a message of hope. It closes with Rainbow Nation, celebrating the human race and our hope for the future.
