This beautiful Rainbow Obsidian freeform has been hand carved in Jalisco, Mexico from natural volcanic glass formed during ancient lava flows. While it appears deep black at first glance, Rainbow Obsidian reveals subtle bands of iridescent colour when viewed in the light, created by microscopic mineral inclusions within the glass. These flashes of colour give each piece a mysterious depth and make every carving completely unique. In metaphysical traditions, Rainbow Obsidian is considered a protective and grounding stone. It is believed to help gently release emotional blockages, support personal growth, and bring hidden feelings to the surface for healing. Many people work with Rainbow Obsidian to encourage strength, clarity, and emotional balance while maintaining a strong energetic shield. The smooth freeform shape highlights the natural beauty of the stone and allows the rainbow sheen to catch the light from different angles, making it both a powerful energetic piece and a striking display specimen.
