I love rainbow sherbet, so we make a rainbow sherbet cake. Most of our cakes come from cake I loved as a kid. This is one of them. We just try to have fun. Cool and bright. Orange, raspberry, lime in conversation with each other — not fighting, not blending into mush. The frosting holds the whole thing together without taking over. Hand-frosted, every cake.
