Choose from four lengths, three pocket styles, two front finishes and three neckline options, then decide whether to add ribbing for a sportier look or keep the edges simply hemmed. Make a classic sweatshirt, a zipped hoodie, a sweatshirt dress or something in between. With so many combinations, Rainbow is a brilliant pattern for experimenting with shape, length and detail. Important to Know: I AM Patterns are designed to be traced rather than cut directly from the pattern sheet. The pattern pieces overlap, so you’ll need to trace your chosen size onto paper before cutting your fabric. This keeps all the sizes intact, making it easy to make another size or adjust the pattern in the future. You can use tracing paper, baking parchment or other lightweight paper, or take a look at our spot and cross pattern paper. Suggested Fabrics: For the main garment, choose stretch fabrics such as sweatshirt jersey, interlock knit, neoprene or French terry. For the ribbed versions, use ribbing by the metre or the same stretch fabric as the main garment. This pattern is not designed for pre-cut ribbing bands.
