This golden-yellow cherry is regarded as the best of its kind. The Rainier cherry tree is known for its fragrant white flowers in the mid-spring, and its large production of exceptionally sweet cherries. Care To care for cherry trees in Zone 7 (Chattanooga), make sure that they receive plenty of sunlight, have well drained/rich soil and are watered well during especially during the first few years of our dry summer seasons.
