The length is on the long side but allowing for bending and ride-up this is ok I think. I am 30/32 waist and went for a small which fits fine. The overall quality is superb for the price. They have a huge ankle to knee side zip to fit over boots and the elasticated ankle cuff makes sure the bottom of the leg does not allow water up inside the leg. I recommend these over trousers.
