The panel is cut to leave that area clear, so there's nothing in the way for male or female dogs — no need to take the coat off for a toilet stop mid-walk. How does the paw cleaner actually work? Half-fill it with warm water, pop one paw in, and twist the cup a few times. Soft silicone bristles do the scrubbing — no brushing, no bath, no wrestling a wet dog into the laundry sink. Lift the paw out, dry it on a towel, repeat. Tip the water out afterwards and rinse the cup. It's small enough to leave by the back door, which is where it earns its keep. It comes in Blue, Pink or Green — pick yours above. The coat is Pineapple Paradise either way. How waterproof is the coat, really? Honestly: it's built for showers and steady rain — the standard Australian wet-weather walk. The outer sheds water, and because it covers the belly and legs, the parts that normally come home soaked stay dry. What it isn't: a dry suit. In a genuine downpour, or if they go swimming or roll in a puddle, water will find its way in somewhere. Nothing at this weight is fully sealed, and we'd rather tell you that than have you find out. How hard is the coat to get on? Legs in, then snap the closures shut. It takes a few goes to get quick at it, and after that it's about as fast as clipping on a harness. First time, try it on inside with a treat or two rather than in the rain at the front door. Most dogs settle into it within a walk or two. How do I clean everything? The coat: wipe it down with a damp cloth and hang it to dry. Mud comes off the smooth outer easily, which is most of the point. Skip the tumble dryer and harsh detergents. The paw cleaner: tip it out, rinse it under the tap, leave it to air dry. The silicone insert lifts out if it needs a proper wash.
