Pomegranates Study, Rajiv Surendra. Part of a series of fruit painted by the artist in Istanbul, Turkey. Local fruit was purchased each morning, painted and then consumed. Painted outdoors at Soho House, Istanbul. Water color on paper. Paper mat, wood frame. Measures framed: 21" x 18" Rajiv Surendra holds a degree in Fine Art History from the University of Toronto and studies drawing and painting at the Art Student's League and the Florence Academy of Art. His studies in watercolor and oil are all painted from life and explore the theme of transition in the everyday. He lives in New York City. Show more
