Description The RAK4630 LoRaWAN module is a compact WisDuo stamp module built around the Nordic nRF52840 MCU and Semtech SX1262 LoRa transceiver. It combines BLE 5.0, LoRaWAN 1.0.3, LoRa point-to-point communication, and RUI3 firmware support for low-power IoT nodes, sensor networks, and embedded wireless products. This variant is the MHF 800 MHz version for EU868, RU864, and IN865 deployments. The RAK4630 LoRaWAN module uses an MHF antenna connector for the LoRa RF path, making it a practical choice when a certified antenna connection and compact stamp-module footprint are required. Notice: The antenna add-on option is intended for certification. A blade antenna requires an MHF4 to RP-SMA/SMA adapter. For the MHF version, the RF pad is internally disconnected and the antenna path is routed through the MHF connector. The hardware can support multiple LoRaWAN regions, while regional labeling is used for certification alignment. Features The RAK4630 LoRaWAN module supports compact embedded designs that need LoRa and BLE in one module. For CE and FCC workflows, RAK provides AT command guidance in the RUI3 documentation. When designing with the RAK4630 LoRaWAN module, keep RF routing and antenna selection consistent with the selected MHF antenna path and the target regional band.
