A two-way zippered front closure, reinforced by a buttoned storm flap, and adjustable latches at the collar and cuffs seal in warmth should the weather take a turn. In terms of utility, it has a full-width, zippered back “map” pocket for storing large items while out in the field. There are also two angled hand pockets, as well as an internal zippered pocket for securing essentials such as a wallet or a phone.
