This rare milky agate bead hails from the Swat Valley (ancient Udiyana) and dates to the Gandhara period, circa 100 BC – 300 AD. Remarkably well-preserved, its soft milky tones are complemented by distinctive internal inclusions that look moss-like. They are sometimes referred to as Sulemani Bacteria Agate.
