The berries are large, sweet, frim and are great for fresh eating, tarts, jams, and freezing. The hardy and productive plant bears fruit in the first year. Cold-hardy and heat-tolerant. An everbearing cultivar with a crop ripening in July and again in September. Raspberries require at least 6 hours of sun and well drained soil. They are happiest in a nutrient-rich, slightly acidic soil, but will still produce in poorer soils. Raspberries are self-fertile so you do not need two varieties for cross-pollination.
