Raspberry Autumn Belle, scientifically known as Rubus idaeus, is a deciduous fruit plant that produces lovely raspberries in Autumn. The green leaves grow for a period of the year before autumning away in Winter due to its deciduous nature. The cropping season occurs in August - September when raspberries of mild flavour but with a refreshing acidity grow. On top of this, they are also a great addition to culinary meals. This hardy fruit plant is a must-have for keen gardeners, regardless of their experience or skill level. The reward of growing fresh fruit from start to finish is a great feeling and one that can be done whether you choose to grow these in a wider group of plants, or in a container.
